Greece - noted for it's great weather, beautiful islands, wonderful food - we missed almost all of that. Arriving on the day of
the show, we drove a couple hours from the airport right to the venue. Traffic was so bad, we saw we'd miss dinner at the venue,
so stopped at a roadside place to grab a bite - it turned out to be a Bavarian deli. Cheese sandwiches and beer for all, and that
was it for our Greek food experiences, since we'd be leaving early the next morning.
The show, part of the Rockwave Festival was in a Woodstock-like surrounding - not what we're used to on
this tour, but very nice. Because we arrived at nightfall, I couldn't get any clear shots of the fields, stands, and
people milling around, but it was very nice. A rare treat; the large Greek band that was playing when we arrived (an
orchestra, really) did a great version of Salisbury Hill!
